Yoga, when practiced regularly, invigorates our physical, mental and emotional energy, releases muscular tension and improves our posture and whole range of movement.
In these classes we will explore yoga stretches and routines that can easily be incorporated into our individual lifestyle. Breathing techniques that help improve the health and function of both body and mind will also be taught. At the end of each class there will be a brief relaxation session.

Yoga @ work is especially beneficial for those with a sedentary job, where it is essential to take time out to stretch our muscles and joints. We do this to promote circulation and reduce fatigue, yoga also helps prevent any potential for injury. This program is suitable for most levels of fitness and beneficial for everyone.

Classes are generally one-hour duration, once per week and sessions can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Many of our instructors have been practicing Yoga for more than 25 years and all are qualified Yoga instructors.

What is Yoga?
Yoga has been in existence for more than 5,000 years. The word Yoga means "to join or bring together" and it brings the body, mind and spirit together into one harmonious experience.

Yoga is usually understood to mean Hatha Yoga, which contains three main elements, exercises, breathing, and meditation. The exercises or postures of Hatha Yoga essentially stretch and strengthen the body, thereby improving natural flexibility and durability. Breathing techniques, gently increase breath control and help improve the health and function of both body and mind. The postures and breathing prepare the body and mind for meditation, enabling the mind to become quiet and allowing release from everyday stress. Regular practice of Yoga enhances the clarity of the mind, ensures that we have strong and supple body, and can help to manage the symptoms of RSI.
